We have had a few GVs in lately that have had some fun parts added but the GV that hit our door step yesterday really had a make over!
John wanted to have everything done in at once so we supplied and fitted a 2Inch Suspension Lift and a set of mud tyres
I have been accused of taking pics on lower angles so as to make the 4bs look bigger, so that in mind i tried to take better angles in my pics but i noticed if you get closer to the ground the light is better on the iphone pics!! but in the name of science took them all at a similar angle.... so here goes!
The little GV looked like this when it arrived!
Then the 2inch lift was added
notice im taking the pics at different angles lol......
Then the best part - the Muddies ( 245/75/16 )
To get this Beast of a GV!!
John wanted to see the travel in action so we drove it up a ramp
to see plenty of the rear tyre still on the ground
So to sum up!'
This little GV went from this
225/70/16 road tyres - no lift
To this!!
245/75/16 mud tyres & 2inch Lift
Nice :-)
So if you have a 4wd that you want improved, come in and see us today!!

ReplyDeleteWhat do you do about the speedo calibration after adding the new tyres?
hi
Deletekits for fixing the speedo are available from Jaycar or Marks 4wd adaptors. i have always just run a GPS on the dash to see the correct speed and to know exactly what the speedo is doing. This means if you have a second set of tyres for road or you need to change size you dont have to correct the speedo.
