Fitting Ssangyong Rexton Snorkel

Hi all

Well we have had a few new products hit our shelves over the last couple of weeks and i can say it has kept us on our toes... lol

The Ssangyong Rexton Snorkel had been available for a while over sea's and from us at Outdoor Auto but this was the first time that we had a chance to fit it in store

The Snorkel came with no instructions and a poor template.
we did our best to line it up with the Rexton and to line the snorkel with that. I would recommend only drilling the main snorkel hole then using the snorkel itself to get the bolt holes. this will save you time and worry with the bolt locations.

Also do not take the hole size on the template as Law. We have a hand belt sander so it was fine to enlarge the hole but by hand this could take a while.

It took us a few hours to get it done but we had a Drill let go in the middle of the job too lol.

The end product was a good looking Snorkel that follows the lines of the A pillar and Guard to give your Rexton a little more off road credibility

Done - one good looking Rexton :-)

Talk soon
